The Horror Cave in Medellin Cebu
The Medellin Municipal Government has turned a cave in Barangay Caputatan Norte into a “horror cave” as a tourist attraction and entertainment for locals during the long weekend. The town apparently had little to improve as the cave’s live bats and spiders, the dripping water from the stalactites and the echo all provide ambiance that horror booths in malls just can’t get. To get there, visitors have to go down 122 steps to the cave entrance where stalactites look like fangs. The fee is P10 per head. Every visitor has to wear a helmet and only five are allowed inside at one time. Organizers say the horror cave has drawn visitors from all over Cebu and even from Dumaguete City. A group reportedly ran out screaming and were so scared that they also scared those in the next group. The next group left without using the tickets they had paid for, organizers tell SnipCebu. The horror cave is open until Nov.2 from 1-5 pm
